Once in a blue moon

Hello Diamonds, 

How is your summer going? Are you enjoying the sunshine, warmth, and adventure that summer offers? Today, I sit here in the lounge chair, enjoying the third phase of The Gypsy Tour, at our camping site in McCloud California, watching this bumble bee flit about the unlit campfire, listening to the woodpecker yelling at me, and my little dog Welington looking at me longingly to give him another treat. I can hear the sound of the creek down below, and faint giggles in the wind of the children enjoying the water falls. It is warm today, and the breeze bringing the awareness that life is full of joy, and comfort, and luxury. The smell of fresh pine air, and the site of my pedicure already ruined from the rocks in the creek, reminds me that luxury is so much more I ever imagined. 

In my business I teach women how to live luxuriously through business success and we achieve that through deep transformation, personal growth and development. The most awesome and intense part of transformation is the ability to understand connectivity. As a survivor of childhood trauma and domestic abuse I spent most of my life in a heightened state of survival, enhanced by toxic shame, and the inability to believe in myself. This is something I notice as a commonality amongst other survivors of trauma. When we are in a state of survival, most of us extreme sensitives, we are unable to connect, truly deeply, and spiritually connect to the small joys in life. This keeps us from loving ourselves, from experiencing the luxuries of living, and it creates a disconnect with money and finances. As we begin the transformation in my program we begin to clear the trauma, and the most magical things happen, these women are like flowers, they begin to rise toward the sun, open up, bloom, and they begin to experience connectivity. As they connect to the essence of their true selves, they are then able to embrace their imperfections, believe in themselves, their gifts, and to the pleasures and luxuries of life. This is the essence of magic, love, and experiencing life the way it is meant to be experienced. And that my darlings, is luxurious!

Yesterday we happened upon the headwaters of the upper Sacramento River, at the base of spring hill in Mt. Shasta. This base chakra of the world is more magical than I anticipated, the energy and vortex of this mystical and magical location brings healing, and balance to the people drawn to it. I was in awe as I watched the most beautiful woman in her bare feet and sundress sit on a rock deep in meditation, one man with dreadlocks, tattoos and a rough exterior helped a little old lady across the stream so she could have a better experience with the water. I watched two strangers connect, acknowledge each other for the power of their being and embrace in gratitude. I watched in awe as my nephew, brave, ambitious, and adventurous, climb the rocks, wade through the ice cold water in his bare feet, and pour water on me to bring laughter and play and fun to our day. I witness the joy in the people, I can feel the pain of some, and I can admire the wondering spirit of the guy traveling from San Diego to Washington for his sisters wedding. I’m in admiration of the diverse, deep, differences in each person, and the joy and adventure in the children. I recognize my ability to be connected, to feel the joy and experience before me, and I am deeply grateful for healing.

This weekend happens to be the blue moon. The saying about once in a blue moon, well we won't have another blue moon until 2018. This one happens to be extra magical and powerful, and setting the tone for transformation, and doing it, now or never is the saying for this blue moon. Jump in, take the leap, allow, and feel the gifts the universe has in store for you, all the new possibilities, the big picture is yours if you take that leap. How exciting is this intensity, these promises from the universe? Your transition is now or never! So ask yourself, where in your life are you neglecting your inner truth. As you ask yourself where you may be neglecting things in your life, what you may be avoiding because of fear, or pain, or lack of skill or knowledge, know that this is the area where the most amazing aspect of ones life can be blocked because it is so terrifying. The great thing is that it's ok, where ones fear lies, is where their greatness lies. If it doesn't scare you, even a little, then it isn't going to be huge, or one of those "once in a lifetime" types of things. This is your time to break through, this is your opportunity to change your life for the best! Now that the blue moon has passed, pay close attention to what shows up. How are you feeling, what miracles have arrived for you? Isn't life incredible!?!

Now in bounds my excited nephew, “Aunt Ditti, Aunt Ditti, look! We got fish! We caught fish!”.  Here is a picture of them approaching, so excited for his catch and his adventure. Pure Magic!

Hello Gorgeous Friends! As the second phase of the Gypsy Tour comes to an end I am reminded of the miracles and magic of the universe. Fairies, pixie dust, and unicorns have nothing on the magic of the summer and the amazing women who are doing big things in this world. Retreat California was pure magic! We experienced deep connection, breakthroughs, a lot of laughter, some tears, and a really good time. Belly dancing was an experience that I never knew would bring me so much joy! Fiona Rose is the leader of the Love Your Body Movement and you can join her online or join her on Facebook in the Love Your Body Fitness Lounge. She offers so much amazing support, and encouragement! 

So far this summer, beginning with the 7 day cleanse with Fiona, I have lost 15lbs. I am feeling like a true Sassy CEO! Not only is this summer all about swimming in Lake Shasta, the Root Chakra of the world, I’m also belly dancing now too. (I even have jingles!)

Mt. Shasta, California is the Root (1st) Chakra of the world. This is the raw biological life force energy. Balancing the root chakra creates a solid foundation for a life of stability filled with Joy. It is no wonder it feels SOOOO good to be here! The root chakra, also the first chakra is located at the base of a spine on a person. It is the root of your being and establishes the deepest connections with your physical body, your environment and the Earth. This is the most instinctual of all chakras, it is your survival center. When we have a solid foundation, and joy, we can be open and secure in all other areas of our life. If you haven't ever experienced Mt. Shasta or Shasta Lake, then jump on board the Gypsy Tour and experience this root chakra location!

With symbolism being a big part of my everyday life I am always aware and in awe at the symbolic gifts the universe offers. On the way to the retreat I punched in the address and it showed I had 555 miles. The number five was showing up EVERYWHERE, and then I get a triple 5 message! I knew this was a message from the Angels. The Angel message of 555 is a powerful number, it carries the strong vibrations of making decisions and choices, life changes and new opportunities, adventure, and curiosity. This angel number tells of significant and necessary changes happening in your life that have been divinely inspired and guided. (I believe the retreat was divinely inspired and definitely guided by the divine) These changes that the number 5 have in store will bring about long awaited circumstances and results and will fully align you with your true Divine life purpose and soul mission. I know that with the heart and intention I put into this retreat this message was confirmation that I am fulfilling my purpose and my soul mission. With that being said, be on the look out for the next one because the healing, connection, and breakthrough that was experienced at this retreat  was magical and is awaiting you at the next one! 

The second symbolistic experience that showed up for all of us was the Rabbit. Literally we had our own Rabbit guide at the retreat. Showing up as a friendly face, with lovely intuitive energy telling us our instincts are innate and to nurture them and continue our development.  This real live rabbit was even guiding people to their perfect parking spot! The Rabbit embodies intuition, transformation, adaptability and knowledge. Rabbit also symbolizes inspiration! (SO perfect for the retreat and all we are experiencing!) The Rabbit energy indicates a leap of faith, or coincidence. Serendipity working in your favor, with confirmation that your intuition and feelings are accurate. All of this Rabbit energy is indicative symbolism of the retreat and everybody there! Thank you Rabbit for your love, message, and energy!

As these symbols showed up for all of us at the retreat they are also showing up for you now as you read this. Where in your life does this symbolism feel good? What does it say for you? Isn't it such a blessing to have these messages and confirmations in life? It is truly magical.

The Gypsy Tour continues to allow the journey of adventure and opportunity of exploring and being open to all that awaits. The next stop is Bakersfield, California for Basic DNA ThetaHealing workshop with some of the industries best Doulas, homeopathy experts and busy Mommies making a difference in the health and lives of their families. The group conscious of this workshop is already incredible and high vibrational. If you are interested in joining us drop me a line! This workshop is July 24th-26th. I would like to end with sharing this message that was sent to me in a text message after the retreat, by our very own brilliant Love Your Body Movement Leader, Fiona Rose. “You are joy, looking for a way to express. It’s not just that your purpose is joy, it is that you are joy. You are love and joy and freedom and clarity expressing. Energy-frolicking and eager, that’s who you are. And so, if you’re always reaching for alignment with that, you’re always on your path, and your path will take you into all kinds of places. We will not deny that you will not discover miracles and create benefits and be involved in creation, and that you will not uplift humanity-we will not say that you will not find satisfaction in so many things that you create, but we can’t get away from the acknowledgment that you are Pure Positive Energy that translates into the human emotion of joy.” -Abraham. So I wanted to share that message with you as you read this blog. To pass the message along, and to inspire you and uplift you.

Hello Diamonds,

The first leg of The Gypsy Tour has come to an end. We begin the second week, with excitement and anticipation because this is the week of Retreat California, so exciting! As I began this summer tour I knew my life would be evolving, my daughter recently graduated high school, my business is blooming, and opportunities are knocking. I sat down before committing to this summer Gypsy Tour, and I set my intentions; to have fun, to get physically happy with my body, to spend time with my sister, soak up some sunshine, prepare myself for the next phase of my life. I didn’t plan a tight schedule, I desire for opportunity to present itself and to truly live the hippy, gypsy, chic life that I’ve dreamt of.

So far I’ve lost 8lbs, I’ve gotten LOTS of sun, spent days on the lake basking in vitamin D, watching my nephew grow, working with amazing new clients, and planning and finalizing the retreat. The opportunities that have presented themselves are more RETREATS! These retreats are such a great way to teach workshops! Part of being an entrepreneur is the continued education, growth, personal development, and also the fun, freedom, and experiences that you don’t normally get with a traditional J-O-B! Traveling is always on the list of every entrepreneur I speak with, and so our next retreat will be in a gorgeous exotic location, with local adventure included. I have been in the divine creative process with Fiona Rose of www.loveyourbodymovement.com and Brian McNeil of www.verypersonalsalescoaching.com and together we will be hosting the next retreats. As I sit here in my Sisters vintage gypsy trailer, and I type this blog, dreaming of the day, thinking about you all and how I can be in service to the people of the world, I am wondering who out here in this world may need the things I can teach. I’m excited to meet those people, I am excited to serve more people. I am learning, growing, and expanding, my heart is full and overflowing with love! This summer is pure LUXURY to me, connection, family, clients, sunshine, experience and adventure! What is your definition of luxury, and how does luxury feel to you? 

I love reflecting on the symbolism that appears in our lives, those little messages from the universe that show up to speak to us. Dragonflies and lady bugs have been showing up everywhere, dancing and flighting about, showing us, telling us, little quiet messages. The Dragonfly shows up to ask you to pay attention to your deep desires while being mindful of the outcome you wish for. The lessons to be learned and the reminder that your thoughts create your reality. Dragonfly tells us to LIVE, live life to the fullest with all the blessings you have now. To seek out and be aware the habits you have that need changing, and they guide you through mists of illusion to the pathway of transformation. Dragonfly brings you to the light and vision of transformation in your life. This is the perfect message for the summer and the intentions I have set forth. What does dragonfly symbol represent to you in your life? It is a symbol for you right now, as you are reading this, symbolism shows up everywhere!

The ladybug symbol and meaning is to show up with the heart of a child and your dreams come true. Ladybug brings abundance wherever she goes. When you see her make your wish known to her, and as she flies away know in your heart she is off to grant your wish. Ladybug is the beautiful, magical message that the universe is conspiring to make your dreams come true. What is your ladybug wish today? She is here for you as you read this too. 

The mantra that I love most is "magic is happening, magic is happening now", because I can feel my heart open to the miracles and blessings that are here for me, and this summer and all the universal messages
showing up are confirmation of the magic we all have in our lives. Open your heart, connect to your joy, and be aware of the magic that is all around you! I wish for you a magical summer, full of joy, laughter, adventure, and love!

The Gypsy Tour

You know that dream you’ve had since you were a kid, the one where everybody tells you how crazy you are. That dream that seems silly, or “out there” and nobody really gets it. The dream that has caused you to burry your thoughts, hide, and dismiss it when it pops its little head up like a peek a boo. You aren’t alone! Everybody has these dreams, some are big, others are little, some seem insignificant and when you look a little deeper you can see the great significance behind it, and therefore it will be earth shaking, mind blowing, exciting and fun!

For the last 10 years I’ve dreamt of being a hippie, gypsy, traveling Queen. I dreamt of my vintage trailer, poured over Pinterest pages for ideas of vintage trailers, dreaming of how I will design my own one day. I dreamt of the day I can easily and freely shed my layer of material possessions that I so love and have learned to part ways for a time. To set out on my own, with peace and quiet, and FREEDOM! I dreamt of shabby chic linens, fluffy pillows adorning my tiny trailer. I dreamt of a tiny pink stove, and hot pink trim on the outside, with some shiny sparkly rims. I dreamt of traveling to places I’ve never been, meeting people I wouldn’t normally have the honor of meeting. Living out loud, on purpose, free, and having a true adventure.

As a highly sensitive person growing up in a traumatic home environment I was constantly in a state of stress, disconnected from luxuries such as love, gentleness, communication, and understanding. I didn’t know how to have an experience and appreciate it and really have a good time with it, I could not FEEL the pleasures and luxuries that life has to offer. So even though I’ve had some great adventures, I have recently come to learn how to truly, deeply and fully connect, and experience life's great adventures.

Through my years of coaching and mentoring survivors of childhood traumas, domestic violence, and sex abuse, and my own personal healing journey, I have finally reached the place in my life where I am learning and feeling connected, in tune, and ready to experience luxury as I define it for myself. 

One day in The Diamond Lounge, my networking group, I asked the group if they were to do something they have always wanted to do, and they had no fear holding them back, what would they do. I realized my dreams of a little vintage trailer were still sprinkled throughout my mind. And this is how my Gypsy tour was born. Today in one hour, I begin my tour. Just me, my dog, my dreams, and the summer possibilities.

Welington Von Humperdinck Kendall Holmes, my 10 year old Pomeranian, will accompany me on the Gypsy Tour. He is the perfect travel companion, and every Queen needs her Pomeranian by her side. The Sassy CEO’s Gypsy Tour begins on June 10th, we are just going with what feels good, and the first stop is Redding California. The tour consists of three weeks in Redding, a week in Oxnard California for our Love is In Retreat, from there San Francisco for Basic DNA Workshop, Idaho Falls Idaho for a two week stay in a gorgeous cabin in the woods with my business cohort, Kristin Curtis, cousin Mandi, and friends, to do some major brainstorming and creating. Off to Hawaii with the family for some much needed quality time in the vibration of awesomeness! Creating Rainbows!

The world is changing, kindness is IN, love is IN, connection is IN, and awareness is abundant. As Soulful and Heart centered business owners we are paving a path that is leading to a brighter future. As Sassy CEO's I believe it is our honor and our job to create space where people feel honored, supported, encouraged, and loved. We have the ability to reach people, teach people, and make a difference for many people. One of the women I watched and listened to growing up was Maya Angelou, I hold her near and dear to my heart, and as she says, "Try to be a rainbow in someone's cloud." It is an easy thing to do!

So how do we “be a rainbow in someone’s cloud”? Because there is an awakening happening, an awareness, people are vibrating higher, and leaning in to the experiences that just feel good. So in our heart centered business we must create a space that feels good. I have found, in having coached and mentored hundreds of women, that one of the missing elements in sales is acknowledgment. We learn to “compliment” people, or to schmooze people, and nowadays that just feels gross. The difference between acknowledgment and a compliment is that in order to truly acknowledge someone you have to first FEEL them, SEE then, and once the connection is there you can acknowledge them for something you see or feel, or some part of them that you genuinely and truly appreciate. This FEELS GOOD! A compliment feels more surface oriented and without depth. And as Maya Angelou says, “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” I agree with her!

If you think back to sales experiences you have had what do you remember? The guy knocking on your door, with overzealous energy that you weren’t prepared for, or the car salesman that made you feel sick to your stomach. Or do you remember the lady at the department store who went out of her way to help you, spent some extra time with you and told you something that made you feel better about yourself? Both of these are memorable, because they made you feel a certain way. The idea as business owners, is to create a space where your client feels honored, and supported, and safe, so that a connection takes place and you can both discover the path in front of you, which ultimately leads to a sale.

I encourage you to make a conscious choice to practice acknowledgement this entire week. Watch the interaction that takes place, and take note on how it makes you feel. Try it with clients, your kids, spouse, potential clients, the guy that checks your groceries, everybody you come into contact with. People are so much in a hurry often that they miss opportunities to connect with people, so take that extra moment to connect, and acknowledge. Your life will feel so much richer, luxurious and delightful! Those moments that feel so good are the treasures of life! This is creating true Money Magic for your business!

You see, 12 years ago, I was single, broke... and broke down, and did not believe in myself. I was humiliated for being on welfare, and there were times when I didn’t even want to leave my house. After a soul awakening and extremely deep, intense inner work and growth, I finished college and created a business. This business landed me as a nationally ranked sales performer, a Senior Interior Designer who took sales to top, selling 1.6 million dollars in revenue and being awarded the number one spot for cross sale performance with the largest flooring company in the United States! It was then that I realized that sales was a whole lot more than selling a product. 

After six years with consistent sales performance, and being highly sought after in the flooring and sales industry, I began teaching workshops. This path ultimately lead me to creating Sassy CEO. The first couple of months, when my business was new, were a bit of a struggle... I was holding on to all the rules and guidelines I had been taught and had taught others because I believed that it was holding on tight that would keep me safe... Then it happened again. The gut-wrenching soul, awakening experience of self growth that I was fighting because I thought that I was doing the "right thing".  I had to learn to let go of the rules. All of the rules that I had learned so intimately and personally, and taught thousands of people, and the very thing that was now holding me back. I had to let them go. Once I let go of these rules, and brought my true self back into the picture, it became clear that these three things were the reason I was able to sell over a million dollars a year! I then bounced back, and my business took off! I want to share those three tips with you, so YOU CAN FLOURISH in your business too!

Love Revolution

Today, March 12, 2015, is the launch of the new brand for Sassy CEO. Having coached, mentored, and taught workshops to hundreds of women teaching them the power of healing, love, luxurious living and business success I realized that I needed a brand to represent these amazing women that I’ve had the blessings of working with. My discovery that each woman I worked with had a strong personality, a strong sense of the good they desired to do in the world, and discovering their voice and that they could use it, loud and clear, their true Sassy was brought to life. Sassy shows up when given the ability to speak from their hearts. And that is how Sassy CEO was born.

I am proud of this, I am proud of the women, clients, and friends who have become  part of my life through this work. These women are some Sassy, strong, and amazing humans!
